Trenton, NJ - New Jersey Young Democrats (NJYD) endorsement and support applications are now open for the 2023 election season.

NJYD encourages all New Jersey Democratic candidates running for public office to apply. Please note the difference between the endorsement and support applications is the age requirement for candidates. Per NJYD’s bylaws, the organization officially endorses candidates through age 40. Now with the support form, NJYD is also offering support to Democratic candidates 41 and above.

To apply for an NJYD endorsement, Democratic candidates must be in good standing and through age 40. To apply for support from NJYD, Democratic candidates must be in good standing and age 41 and above.

Candidates who wish to apply for NJYD’s endorsement or support must fill out the applicable form, both of which can be found at the following links:

The deadline to submit endorsement and support applications is Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:59pm.
